During this year´s Indo-German Training Course Kiel put on the best summer weather. As in the years before, the response was so positive that we were able to welcome 31 participants to the Kiel School.
Our third course within five weeks was an English-speaking four-day Specialized Advanced Training Course. Twelve participants took part in the Training Programme, five of whom had already attended a basic training course in Kiel.
Two weeks after our successful start into the course year another basic training course was held, this time in German. Again, the main focus was given to access techniques, safety-steps, adnexal surgery and diagnostic hysteroscopy.
Our first training course of the year, an English-speaking Standard Training Course focusing on access techniques, safety-steps, adnexal surgery and diagnostic hysteroscopy, took place from 11th - 13th April. The relatively small, but very interested group of eight participants observed a range of live endoscopic operations in the morning sessions.
Our course year ended in November with an English-speaking advanced training course, focusing on urogynaecology and pelvic floor surgery. Ten participants took part in the training programme, five of whom had already attended the beginners´course in Kiel.
Our last Standard Training course of the year took place directly before the Schleswig-Holstein autumn school break. The German-speaking course was fully booked with 12 participants and focused on uterus myomatosus, hysterectomy, myoma enucleation and endometriosis.
